About Me

I am Hams Al Johani, a Computer Science student at Effat University with strong interest in AI, Big Data Analytics, Machine Learning, Data Engineering, and Software Development. I enjoy building scalable systems using PySpark, Python, and modern data processing tools to solve real-world problems.

Skills

Projects

1. Clinical Outcome Prediction from Noisy Medical Records

Built a distributed PySpark pipeline for predicting hospital readmission using healthcare data with adversarial noise simulation, feature engineering, and Spark MLlib models including Logistic Regression, Decision Tree, and Random Forest.

2. Health Risk Prediction Using Machine Learning Across Heterogeneous Patient Populations

Built a machine learning system to predict ICU hospital mortality using the eICU Collaborative Research Database. Compared multiple models including Logistic Regression, Random Forest, SVM, XGBoost, and Voting Ensemble. Applied adversarial label noise testing, class imbalance handling, hyperparameter tuning, and ensemble learning to improve robustness.

3. Smart Parcel Sorting System (Data Structures Project)

The Smart Parcel Sorting System efficiently organizes parcels based on delivery routes and priority, using data structures like queues, stacks, linked lists, arrays, and tree-based classification. This system improves logistics by automating parcel sorting, reversing batches, and structuring delivery zones.
